Not Your Usual Watch Brand - The Electricianz
In the world of watch brands, there are many examples of “copy and paste” products, but every now and then, a brand will bring something to the table to disrupt popular designs, styles and aesthetics. Whether it’s new movement implementations or complications, brands are pushing the envelope to break away from societal norms, and the brand with the biggest desire to be different is The Electricianz.
“My name is Laurent. Captain of a group of Engineers, Designers & Gamers called “The Electricianz. You will not know their names. You will not see their face, but you will DISCOVER what they do.
At the start of the 21st century, the world is ruled by repetitive Algorithms that flatly determine the fate of Humanity. But in this Creative Twilight, Around the year 2017, a subversive movement is evading software surveillance.”

Current and past brands have implemented analog (quartz and mechanical) and digital watchmaking into one timepiece. However, none have used both paired with an LED module operated by an independent PCB (printed circuit board). The Electricianz create watches via quartz and mechanical movements. They use their in-house electronics module to power the newest generation of LEDs surrounding their creations' dials, creating the perfect bond between traditional watchmaking and modern design.
“The ELZ’s ambition is to Create new Objects that Illustrate "Electrical Phenomenon" and Evolve in an Alternative Universe Blending Electronic Technology and Lifestyle and with Contemporary Fashion.”

Not only are the watches created by The Electricianz unique, but they’re also aesthetically stunning; the NoMadZ is a perfect example. The watch implements neutral tones of beige and sand with accents of gold to create a minimalist style with a hint of glint and pop. The NoMadZ features the patented, in-house LED module paired with a Miyota movement consisting of quartz and mechanical technologies. The movement is housed in a 45mm stainless steel case wrapped in a thermomoulded nylon sheath combined with natural sand.
